On Saturday, August 13 th 2011 the Sullivan County Recreational Association sponsored
the 3 rd annual Dushore Founder's Day 5K Run/5K Walk/10K Run at 9:00 am.

This 5K course has some steep hills which make it challenging but 91 participants successfully crossed the finish line. Overall male 5K winner was Logan Hatton with a time of 18:32 and overall female 5K winner was Kelly Kramer with a time of 26:10.

This race had participants ranging from under 13 to over 50 years of age. The 10K race has less participants but included more steep hills and more distance to make it even more challenging but overall male 10K winner Justin Krebs finished with a time of 36:28 and female 10K winner was Nancy Kinner with a time of 50:58.

Also participating were walkers of which the overall male winner was John Plucemin with a time of 33:09 and overall female winner was Jessica Pedro with a time of 37:33.

Sullivan County Recreational Association would like to thank all 91 participants and the 42 sponsors along with the many spectators who made the race a tremendous success again this year! We hope to see those 91 participants back next year and even more runners and walkers participating in the 4 th annual Dushore Founder's Day 5K/10K.
